Alexander Steinmann studied mechanical engineering with specialisation in fluid mechanics and turbomachinery at the technical universities of Darmstadt and Berlin between 1992 and 1997.
Afterwards he worked as scientific assistant at the department „Fluid Mechanics and Turbomachinery“ at the Technical University of Berlin. He wrote his PHD about numerical and experimental investigations of two-phase flows.
Jens Hamann, born 1947, studied electrical engineering and electrical Machines at the Technical University in Brunswick, Germany.
After his PhD 1979 in Brunswick, Germany, he started his career as electrical engineer for electrical drives at Siemens AG, Dynamowerk Berlin. He was responsible for the electrical design of electrical motors and generators like hydroelectric power generators.
