In this advanced seminar the approach for the modeling and calculation of components and assemblies made from composite materials, as well as such with orthotropic material behavior is explained.The different strategies  to create laminate material properties and assign this to the geometry are presented on practical examples. Particular emphasis is placed on evaluating the laminate results. For this purpose, the advanced post-processing options of this calculation module are taught .
