Description:

High-quality elements are the basis for successful finite element analyses. Therefore, it is essential to pay special attention to this part of the simulation process. This training is designed for simulation engineers who want to create and calculate high-quality finite element meshes with the NX Advanced Simulation functionalities. Therefore both 3D solid meshes as well as 2D surface meshes are handled. In addition, special procedures such as the mesh morphing and the batch meshing are discussed more detailed. The created meshes can be checked using the solver-specific quality criteria and so be optimally prepared for the desired solver (possible beside Nastran are among other ANSYS, ABAQUS, LSDYNA).
